Neurosurgery Resident

David A. Giles, MD, PhD, is a 5th year neurosurgery resident at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his graduate work at the University of Michigan studying the role of antigen presentation in autoimmune neuroinflammation, and now in residency, he has translated this expertise to tumor immunotherapy. His current work explores the immune response to laser interstitial thermal therapy and the critical components of an effective anti-tumor immune response. His clinical interests are in pediatric glioma, and he plans to pursue a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery.
