Daniel Biro was born and grew up in New York City. He studied Chemical and Biomeidcal Engineering at the Cooper Union for Advancement for Science and Art in New York City. He then completed his MD and PhD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, where his thesis focused on modeling gene regulatory networks in changing environments. He is currently a PGY6 Resident in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Chicago, where he is completing an enfolded fellowship in clinical research with a focus in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery.
