Fernanda Castillo, MD Candidate, is a medical student at Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) and a research assistant in neurosurgical oncology at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Mexico City. Her research focuses on brain tumors, with experience in systematic reviews, bibliometric analysis, and clinical research protocols. She has presented her work at international conferences, including the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). She has also been recognized with multiple awards for her contributions to neuroscience and clinical research, including first place in the National Scientific Poster Competition (CNCC XV) organized by the Mexican Association of Physicians in Training (AMMEF A.C.).
