Vasanth Bharathidasan
Third-Year Medical Student, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kerala, India
Hi, I’m Vasanth, a third-year medical student from India. My interest in fact-based medicine and the potential impact it may have on patient care is what led me to research. I am currently engaged in ongoing research projects on spine and stroke medicine, with a strong desire to explore opportunities in other medical fields, with a keen interest in sports medicine. I have published a paper on the treatment of Schmorl's nodes, and my ongoing research spans from optimizing treatment strategies for intracranial atherosclerotic disease to conducting epidemiological studies on spondylodiscitis, among other projects. I hope to return to the United States following my medical education to pursue residency and further advance my academic career. Born in Boston, I am especially excited to attend this conference, witness groundbreaking research from doctors around the world, and connect with like-minded individuals to exchange ideas and insights.
