Noah Drewes is currently a third year medical student at Southern Illinois University and completed a Bachelors in Science degree in Biology at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2022. He is currently engaged in research at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he has contributed to various clinical projects within the department of neurosurgery. His primary research interest involves glioblastoma biology. Following his third year of medical school, he is taking a dedicated research year in Dr. Atique Ahmed’s laboratory at Northwestern University, focusing on therapeutic resistance in glioblastoma. He plans to apply to neurosurgery residency in the 2026 cycle.
