Qilin Zhang, MD, MS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. Dr. Zhang specializes in the surgical and translational research of sellar region tumors.
Dr. Zhang completed his neurosurgery residency at Huashan Hospital, where he played a pivotal role in establishing China's first multidisciplinary pituitary tumor center, managing over 1,000 pituitary and 200 craniopharyngioma cases annually. His research integrates genomic and multi-omics sequencing to uncover the molecular mechanisms driving tumor pathogenesis, identify novel biomarkers, and develop precision medicine strategies. His work has contributed to the discovery of key genetic mutations in pituitary tumors and target therapy in craniopharyngioma.
