William Harrison Hicks is a 4th Year Medical Student at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and incoming PGY1 Neurosurgery Resident at Emory University. Harrison's clinical and research interests have centered on neuro-oncology, developing novel preclinical models of CNS malignancies, and exploring metabolic vulnerabilities in gliomas. Additionally, he has taken an interest in neurotrauma, namely through recent work highlighting the surgical management of penetrating traumatic brain injury to the posterior fossa based on the experience of the surgeons treating these injuries on the front lines of the war in Ukraine.
