Ektha Parchuri, MPH is a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with an interest in surgery and clinical research. She has been involved in research focusing on trauma, sickle cell disease, and public health, with a particular emphasis on injury outcomes and vascular responses. She was awarded the Copeland Grant to explore traumatic brain injury outcomes in underserved and minority populations. Her work spans clinical trials, health disparities research, and translational studies aimed at improving patient outcomes. Outside of medicine, she enjoys dancing, cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, and exploring new restaurants.
