Trenton A. Line, BS, is a fourth-year medical student in at Indiana University School of Medicine aspiring to become a neurosurgeon. Born and raised in Greenwood, Indiana, he attended Indiana University, where he studied neuroscience and competed in the iconic Little 500 bicycle race. Trenton is passionate about the intersection of neuroscience and mental health. His research interests lie in understanding how brain structure and network dynamics influence psychopathology and consciousness. Additionally, he is interested in applying machine learning to develop tools for predicting postoperative outcomes. Trenton’s long-term goal is to investigate novel applications of neuromodulation for restoring brain function and relieving pain. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing guitar and piano, golfing, rock climbing, camping, cycling, reading, and caring for his tropical plant collection.
