Dr. Manish N. Shah, MD, FAANS is the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Chair and Associate Professor with Tenure of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the McGovern Medical School at UTHouston. He is Director of Pediatric Spasticity and Epilepsy Surgery at UTHealth and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. He directs the UTHealth Pediatric Movement Disorders Center. He received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Princeton University, his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and completed his neurosurgery residency training at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. After residency, he completed fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He runs an NIH-funded laboratory in neuroimaging.
