    Dr. Howard is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine. He maintains a practice in surgical and endovascular treatment of cerebral and spinal vascular disorders, and head and neck pathology. Dr. Howard is faculty in the CAST approved endovascular fellowship at Emory and is fellowship director of the CAST approved cerebrovascular surgery fellowship. He is heavily involved in organized neurosurgery serving on the executive committee of the Joint Cerebrovascular Section of the AANS/CNS, and on the editorial board of Operative Neurosurgery and the Journal of Neuurosurgery, among other roles.
