    S. Alan Hoffer is the Director of the Traumatic Brain Injury Center and Co-DIrector of the Neurocritical Care Center at University Hospitals of Cleveland where he is a neurosurgeon and neurointensivist. He is a Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurology at Case Western Reserve University. In his spare time, he grows hot peppers and makes barbecue sauce.
