The Richard C. Schneider Lecture was first given in the late 1980s. The lecture was endowed in 2002 thanks to the efforts of Julian T. “Buz” Hoff, MD, with financial support from the University of Michigan. The gift, given through the NREF, was given in honor of Dr. Schneider’s dedication to the University and their neurosurgery program.
