How to Start the Uniportal Full Endoscopic Posterolateral Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (endo-tlif) from Minimally Invasive-transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (MIS-TLIF)

Introduction: In the past decade, Minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF) has become a surgical procedure in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases (LDD). Unilateral uniportal endoscopic transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (Endo-TLIF) has emerged as a novel
surgical technique.

Methods: Under the previous experience about the MIS-TLIF and familiar with the endoscope technique about the discectomy and decompression of spinal stenosis. Then increase the experience in cardaver and learn more about the anatomy. Finally, i can perform to my patient

Results: The preliminary result showed the improved about the post operation wounds pain and increase the post operation rehabilitation program. The long term following up about the adjacent level degeneration, screw looseness or fusion rate need more cases to compare to the MIS-TLIF group.

Conclusion : The present study aims to share the clinical outcomes and postoperative complications of Endo-TLIF. And the journey to convert to Endo-TLIF as a neurosurgeon.
